Welcome, Timm!!

Recently, the Board of Directors at the IMBBQA extended an invitation to Timm Martin to serve on the Board... And the goober actually accepted!!

Well - yes, he did accept... But he is far from being a "goober"... And the IMBBQA is very proud and excited to have Timm as a new Board member!!

Timm, along with his wife, Crystal, are perhaps better known as "Trailhound Smokers" ( www.trailhoundsmokers.com ), and they live on the outskirts of Las Vegas, NV. Timm is no stranger to cooking, having been a dutch oven and grill guru for 15+ years before finally coming over to the "smokey side". Their team consists of both Timm & Crystal, and an occasional stray kid or two. Somehow these guys met R&R BBQ at their very first professional comp back in 2010, got hooked - and before you know it, Timm was talking them into selling him their custom-built East Texas Smoker (which to this day you will still hear Rod cussing about!)


This will be Trailhound Smokers 3rd season to compete - and last year alone the cooked in 12 comps in 4 different states (NV, AZ, UT, & CA.) And despite what they might come up and tell you at a comp about not knowing anything and needing your help - WATCH OUT!! These folks know what they are doing!!

Timm has not only ben an active supporter of the IMBBQA since it's inception - but he also been very active of late in helping organize BBQ down in Nevada. He has now held 2-3 meetings with the teams down there, and they are building some strong momentum/interest.

Again, the IMBBQA is proud to have Timm join us as our newest Board member!! Make certain to tell him "Congratulations" soon!!
