USA Barbecue Championship - Las Vegas - This Weekend!!

The USA Barbecue Championship in Las Vegas is finally here this weekend. Talk, excitement, and anticipation about this event has been building since rumors of the event first began to circulate this past January - and now "THE" weekend is finally upon us. Billed as the "World's Richest Contest", $125,000 in prize money is on the line. An unofficial team list began to circulate yesterday - and teams from near and far are congregating at The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for what promises to be one whale of a competition.

The team list that came out yesterday reads like a "Who's Who of BBQ", and we have several teams that stop by the IMBBQA from time to time that will be there - IAB 30 BBQ, McFrankenboo BBQ, Otis & The Bird, Pork U BBQ, R&R BBQ, Rhythm N Que, and Trailhound Smoker BBQ caught my eye as I briefly ran down the list.
